2009 ConNooga_Lloyd Kaufman Interview Update

Dropping the ball, technically speaking, on Mr. Kaufman's interview, not only lost some very funny moments, but also lost a very important message he wished to deliver. A message very dear to his heart. The following is taken from an email he was kind enough to send:

"Independent art and commerce is in great peril. Please post this urgent message in as many places on the internet as possible. Keep independent art and information in the hands of the people! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkWHUNsjlSY)

Thanks a lot.

Wow, what a lucky break to land an interview with Mr. Kaufman, and what a bad turn to lose it to the gadget gremlin. Dude, you need to start a peace dialogue with that gremlin!

A good message by the man, done his way. Has there ever been a time when independent art and commerce haven't been in great peril? I think the phrase from his latest book sums it up. "Make your own damn (whatever)" is about where we are with the net. Anyone can make anything and let everyone who wants to experience it.
